This will involve loading the long welded rail trains with continously welded rail being the main job

these then go out all over the country and unload where required but thats done by a diffrent company

Nothing to do with the welding.
The rails are lifted from the storage stack by multiple gantry cranes all controlled from one point. That's the large yellow structure you can see from the end of Dutton Lane.
Don't get CEN56 and CEN60 or corrosion resistant rails confused. ( That is a job for the renewal contractor!)
You made be involved with stock taking ( each rail string is numbered and dated) and ensuring nothing gets forgotten in the bottom of the stack as there are restrictions on how long lwr should sit around before being laid and stressed.
East Yard is bl**dy cold when there is a north east wind.

No forklift operation is involved in moving rails.
The rails are welded into 108m or 216m strings. they have to be lifted along their entire length at one time to minimise any stresses. That's what the multiple linked gantry cranes are for.
