I find this the best planner for ease of use in finding the best fares in various situations. However I now find it frustrating the number of times -Oh no! There has been an error- occurs.

Today when feeding in information for a 10am departure, where there are plenty trains operating before then, the result comes up with a few trains the previous day, ie. the site seems to have lost the plot.

Any idea on how to quickly clear previous data? Have tried all the obvious, eg deleting earlier info?

"Oh no!..." happens all the time - it's very annoying.

Deleting cookies for ojp.nationalrail.co.uk might solve the problem.

For chrome see https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647 (see "delete cookies for a specific site"). Unfortunately, it's not quick.

Maybe start a new incognito window for each NRE query?

I too have seen this site "fall apart" for me over the past two weeks. Many replies now seem to be you need multiple tickets for this journey, which you do not if you then go to book via the TOC site. I also often have to kill the session and start again after the multiple tickets message.
I assumed some change their end as it will no longer work on my (old) I.E. version and even on Chrome is very flaky.

I'm not sure if it's related but I've noticed a problem with the Network Rail Journey Planner with Firefox in the last few weeks. After specifying the From, To stations and the Date & Time then after clicking on the Go button the "Just working" message pops up and spins round for a bit, then rather displaying the Trains Times & Tickets list, it simply returns to the "Where are you heading?" dialogue. The journeys are not complex/impossible e.g. I have just tried it with CHX to DFD tomorrow. The problem doesn't seem to occur with IE but Firefox is my default browser.
