It took me quite a while to find them too when I last looked a few weeks back. Certainly not prominent on the latest version of the site.

In all seriousness when I was there a few weeks back, I could only pick up a Manchester City Centre guide, and that was about as useful as a f@rt in a lift

They still produce lots of paper maps of the GM area, that are widely available at the various TfGM travel shops. However, they are only cycle maps, and don’t contain any information on bus routes etc.
