Eurostar to Amsterdam

Hi all,

I saw a headline the other day that you can now get a Eurostar train direct from London to Amsterdam. This looked good, as we like Amsterdam and like Eurostar, so I've just checked the timetables. It looks like there are more direct trains going in the London to Amsterdam, than Amsterdam to London. Why is this?

There seems a very social 11.04 departure from London, but only an early morning, and late afternoon departure back from Amsterdam.

Mrs BanburyBlue is not the best of travellers, so not sure if she'd like a return journey where you have to change.

I guess the supplementary question is what happens to the additional Eurostar set that goes to Amsterdam? I guess ECS move to Brussels?
