Quick question in preparation for it opening tomorrow - is Worcestershire Parkway included in the Worcester Group of stations?
No it isn't, nor is it a routeing point itself; Worcester Group, Bromsgrove, Cheltenham and Oxford are its associated routeing points.Quick question in preparation for it opening tomorrow - is Worcestershire Parkway included in the Worcester Group of stations?
Much as you may consider the route reasonable, the routeing guide indicates that it is not a permitted route. Only routes via Bristol Parkway (and Yate) or Stroud are permitted.I'm planning on travelling London Paddington to Cheltenham but via Worcestershire Parkway rather than direct.
Does anyone know if a Paddington - Cheltenham off peak return will permit changing at Worcestershire Parkway??
It does seem like a highly reasonable route to me but will that ticket be valid?

This seems unlikely, as there is no permitted route via Worcester Shrub Hill.Thanks...
Given that the station only opens today, could it be the case that the routing guide is yet to be updated to include this station? Surely it's just as 'reasonable' as going via Bristol Parkway?
