Oyster 7 day pass expired but have £7 credit.

Hi guys just a quick question, my oyster card 7 day finishes today and tomorrow will be travelling from Lambeth North to Euston to catch a train back to Liverpool after touring the Imperial War Museum in the morning.

Will the top up be used to automatically pay for my trip between the stations and how much will it be ?

If it is pay as you go credit it will be available for travel and £2.40 will be deducted.

Been an interesting 2 weeks in London transportwise, covering as much as much of the overground, underground and DLR, made the mostcof the Bakerloo/Piccadilly line as its probably the last chance to ride the 1972 stock trains, the Boris buses are pretty cool as well.
Not got chance to ride the BYD electric double deckers.
