As the title says, what is the most common class of rolling stock that does not serve any stations within London Zones 1-6 on a normal timetable, on any operator? You can either treat sub-classes as the same class, or discuss them individually, its up to you.

Class 150s surely, at 137 trainsets? Honourable mentions go to Cl156s (114 sets) and Cl170 (119 sets in operation) though the latter is muddied by the very similar 168s and 171s operating into Marylebone and London Bridge respectively.

To SWR's 158s ever serve Waterloo, or are they kept around Salisbury? Not sure whether its solely 159 to Waterloo.

If this is the case, then there are 170 Class 158 trainsets according to Wikipedia

Are there any Electrostars that don't serve London?

Apart from the Gautrain units, nope they're all with London 'focused' TOCs - the closest you get to a non-London electrostar are when they find themselves on the non-london services with a TOC (eg, southern's coastway services, or SE's Medway valley, etc)

Class 220 Voyagers I assume have never served London, unlike the tilting 221s

They saw use on the Brighton services, which stopped at Kensington Olympia & East Croydon (and possibly Clapham junction?)

07/508 too

1/4 of the 508s spiritually still serve London as part of the 455/7s!

220s did appear as well as 221s on WCML Euston services when they were all operated by Virgin. I even saw 220+221 combinations on Euston to Chester / North Wales services.

Ooh that's a little ambiguous given the Cally Sleeper uses almost identical stock!
But I am the only person to have made a strict interpretation of 'rolling stock' to exclude powered trainsets!
