Freight near Antwerp

Hi All, I'm working in Antwerp next week and wouldn't mind filming a bit of freight. I've been to Antwerp before but never seen any freight there. With the port there must be plenty nearby, can anyone suggest a station that I could get to that has a good variety of passing freight locos? Cheers all.

Berchem (just south of Antwerpen Centraal) is probably your best bet.

Thanks, I went there last year hopefully but didn’t see any in the 90 minutes that I was there. I’ll try it again this time, the graffiti there was interesting in any case.

Or Noorderdokken, or Luchtbal.
I had wondered about Noorderdokken particularly for this time. That’s helpful, thanks.

All freight trains exiting Antwerpen Noord at Noorderdokken will also go through Berchem. But Berchem will let you see much more passenger trains.
There are 3 exits from Antwerpen Noord : one at Noorderdokken on line 27A to the south and east, one at Ekeren on line 12 to the north and
the Netherlands, and one to the west at Melsele on line 59.

Thank you for this, I'll try my luck at Berchem again, I did like the elevated position above the tunnel for a vantage point.
