17th of February, Settle to Carlisle Line all being well. Both ways.

Did it, but only Leeds to Carlisle thanks to the TPE sale (came back to Manchester via Preston)

I deserved it after having to walk from Belvedere to Abbey Wood due to a total collapse of the service.

In the early 1970's (1971, 1972 or 1973), my parents and I had a week's rover ticket for the Northwest, visiting (probably amongst other places) Blackpool, Southport, Llandudno and New Brighton. Until yesterday I hadn't realised that the current Merseyrail stock transfer line from Liverpool Central to James Street was the regular passenger route in the early seventies, and therefore I've covered it when a brat. Now duly highlighted in my atlas... o_O

Subway - both inner and outer circuits covered throughout.
