Notes:
*1: Diverted between Tapton Junction and Sheffield via Barrow Hill, Beighton Junction and Woodhouse Junction due to the Dore engineering blockade (16th-24th March 2024) for the Hope Valley capacity scheme. Slow running in the Barrow Hill area lost a few minutes.
*2: Diverted via Huddersfield due to Dore works as above, normal route from Sheffield to Leeds (via Swinton, Moorthorpe and Fitzwilliam) then diverging at Hare Park Junction, then via Crofton East Junction, Oakenshaw Junction, Calder Bridge Junction and Wakefield Kirkgate to take the line to Mirfield, Huddersfield, Stalybridge and Guide Bridge to Manchester Piccadilly. Ravensthorpe - is that a dive-under being constructed? (Edit: no, as below it's a flyover). Deighton to Huddersfield - new bridge spans appearing for extra tracks. Stalybridge - Thought the work was completed here but there seem to be some uncommissioned signals. Diversion leisurely in parts but uneventful.
*3: Short delay at Chelford “due to a problem with the lineside equipment”. S&T types visible, working on it.
*4: Marston Vale service seems to have settled down post 150 introduction. Loading light but some traffic at minor stations, until Stewartby where a very large party of young people joined and travelled to Bedford St. Johns and Bedford.
