Llandudno Junction - Manchester via Liverpool.

Hi, looking for some advice please. I’m planning a trip from Llandudno Junction to Liverpool, spend a few hours in Liverpool then on to Manchester a few hours there then return direct to Llandudno Junction on the same day. Is there a return ticket available that would cover this full journey or would I require three separate singles (Llandudno junction - Liverpool, Liverpool - Manchester, Manchester - Llandudno junction) ? Any suggestions appreciated, thanks.

On Trainsplit I set the outbound via as Liverpool and the return via Helsby and it suggests a ticket from Llandudno Junction to Warrington and Warrington to Manchester

Llandudno Junction to Bolton is valid via Liverpool and Manchester, as well as Wigan, don’t know if the convenience of a single ticket is outweighed by greater cost. Plus there’s a bit of the ticket unused.

Hi again, I’m thinking of using the Bolton ticket, is there a way I can show that this is valid via Liverpool if I get questioned during the journey? Also I note that this ticket has restriction code 8A which restricts Break of Journey, but I see from a previous thread on 8A that the consensus seems to be that no one would care and that it’s pretty much unenforceable. Do you think I should be okay to use this ticket to break journey at Liverpool and stop short / return from Manchester? Thanks.
