I have a London to Birmingham return ticket for this weekend which says West Midlands/London NW Railways only but on the National Rail Enquiries app I can’t find any trains that are actually run by London NW Railways. The only companies that seem to run trains between London and Birmingham seen to be Avanti, West Midlands and Chiltern so why does my ticket say London NW ?

West Midlands Trains operate under two brand names: West Midlands Railway and London Northwestern Railway.

Not valid on Chiltern from Moor st to Marylebone then ? Annoying last minute bus replacement between New St and Birmingham Int on Sunday (no mention of it when buying the ticket) . Was hoping I could come back to London that way

Indeed, not valid at all on Chiltern.

First valid service from Birmingham New Street by train on Sunday is at 1034, arriving in London at 1251. Two earlier journeys by bus to Birmingham International.
