Reliability of TER 18544 Chambery to Lyon

On my way back from Greece and currently in a rather chilly but sunny Domodossala. I've got reservations for 1100hrs Lyon to Lille on Sunday and wondering whether to stay overnight tomorrow in Chambery or press on to Lyon.

I'd probably rather stay in Chambery but I'm aware that if the Sunday morning 0844hrs Chambery to Lyon train was cancelled then I'm going to be hard pushed to get back to London on Sunday. Of course if I found out Saturday night that the 0844hrs was cancelled then I could get the 0744hrs instead so that's a sort of back up...

Does anyone have any thoughts on if there is any reason that the 0844hrs might be cancelled?

I’m not an expert on French Railways.

However, if I was in your position, I would aim for the 0744, and have the 0844 as my backup, as grim as that might be.

I have used that service twice in the last 4 years with no problem.

Thanks for your inputs. Decided to stay in Chambery, set an alarm for 0644hrs to check that the 0844hrs was showing as running (if not, I would get up and get the 0744hrs).

Both were showing as running so all good, got the 0844hrs and now en route direct to Lille...

If there had been a late cancellation, there was an option to get a TGV to Paris first and then onto Lille for a later Eurostar but glad I didn't have to try that.

Thanks for everyone's input
