When did First or Stagecoach last rebuild a fire damaged, 17 year old bus?
It all depends on the severity of the damage. Obviously it wouldn't be worth fixing up a bus if the entire thing caught fire. And it's also convenient that they can in this instance simply take all the bits and bobs from another bus that's mechanically alright but structurally unsound.

I thought Telford was a mainly single deck depot so what routes will 1901 & 1902 be used on?

Looks like arriva are targeting the shorter passenger in Spondon.

Trent do have two or three timetable cases on many of the stops leaving little room for an other operators information to be displayed.

I seem to recall the Arriva timetable cases on Railway Terrace were about 8ft off the ground.

I notice derby has brought back two withdrawn scanias. 3552 and 3559 (not tracking/unsure what its tracking as, though i saw it on the chad routes yesterday), are these to cover help cover the frequency increase's that are coming tomorrow or just to help cover a few of the vehicles which have been off for a while?

E400mmc 4551 (YX17 NFG) has been given a repaint and interior refresh.

it re-entered service yesterday on the X45 and is on the 31's today.

3552 wasn’t withdrawn, I removed it by mistake after being misinformed, I’d be shocked to see 3559 back, it had slipped into quite an unreliable stage.

Ah alright, fair enough.

Yeah i was shocked to see it, at first i thought i had read 3557 wrong, but 3557 doesn't have the fleet number next the the blind whereas 3559 has which was a key identifier when i checked to see what it was after I got back home

How does type training work at Arriva?
Hinckley rejected putting an Omnilink into service a couple of months ago on the basis of no drivers being trained and the 72 plate E400MMCs aren't allowed on Hinckley operated services for similar reasons but today there has been a Versa on the 158 (a type that has not been allocated to Hinckley in the recent past).
E400mmc 4564 has been at Barwell depot for the past week, training on the mirrors must've taken place recently.

4551 has returned to Barwell depot after it's repaint and refurb.

I do wonder if it's been sent over as a cover vehicle to allow the 4547-4551 mmcs to be repainted?

Any idea why the university routes were transferred from Arriva Derby to Midlands on bustimes, despite the vehicles being based in Derby?

I think today's allocations were done by throwing darts at a pinboard of fleet numbers.
There are 5 electrics on all day boards on diesel routes whilst multiple diesels are on electric routes.

Perhaps they did it just to give you something to moan about.
