I really hope they are also using slightly better quality paint on the parts that can't be wrapped especially since there is red showing on the 707sHaving seen it a few times it does look lovely... but as soon as the gloss goes it'll just look dull.
I think the red on the door button area is on purpose with 707s for same odd reason that the door panel area is white on 376s. Guess they believe it is hard to find the door buttons without those colours018 looking fresh

Which is odd since the door buttons are yellow on the 707s so there isnt really a need for the panel to be red as the door button colour is off set from the rest of the train.I think the red on the door button area is on purpose with 707s for same odd reason that the door panel area is white on 376s. Was on about that the blue paint on the 707 door buttons is flaking off and exposing the red underneathI think the red on the door button area is on purpose with 707s for same odd reason that the door panel area is white on 376s.
No. The seats are being recovered, but nothing more.Is the cheap plasticky seating getting replaced by ironing boards?
WierdOn closer inspection it seems only the button panel is painted whilst it has a white wrapped surround

Is there anyway of pinning this post to the top of the thread, and/or editing the first post to include it so it's easy to refer back to?Made a list of the current statuses of the 376

There isn't; most threads that have a list like that generally have the updated version added as a new post, or as part of the first post. The latter isn't possible, as the list isn't maintained by the OP.Is there anyway of pinning this post to the top of the thread, and/or editing the first post to include it so it's easy to refer back to?
May have to be the case new posts are done thenThere isn't; most threads that have a list like that generally have the updated version added as a new post, or as part of the first post. The latter isn't possible, as the list isn't maintained by the OP.
I saw them in service together yesterday on the Bexleyheath line, here they are at Barnehurst:376010 in blue and for the first time it's running in a full blue 10 car set with 018
Great images, the 376s look very nice in that livery.I saw them in service together yesterday on the Bexleyheath line, here they are at Barnehurst:

It does indeed. Once the interiors are done then it should be better. If AC or toilets are fitted then it would be one of the best units on the SE metro networkThey look about ten years newer in that paint, it was long overdue and looks glorious.
