Update: popped into the NRM and managed to grab a photo out of the window:

One looks like an electric loco as @eastwestsaid, the one at the front of the pic is a six axel diesel, maybe a 47?

The wrapped wagon at rhe back is just that, a wagon.

i noticed those the other day - assume they are wrapped for onward travel somewhere - are they off to the greatest gathering?

It has oval buffers so guessing it's the 84.

Is there building work still taking place in the great hall? The NRM have, in the past, wrapped locos and rolling stock like this to avoid the paintwork getting covered in building dust etc.
