From experience, the website will happily offer reduced rate fares for TOCs that NR staff are prohibited from using. I always cross reference the relevant priv restrictions before booking now.

Whilst it isn't the most passenger friendly of options, in the past when a number of T3 journeys omitted Ruabon station, I've had to walk from the station to the bus stop on the main road, which is only takes about a minute.

It looks like Lloyds Coaches are in the process of updating the timetables on their website. So far, the T2 & T3/T3C have been uploaded (valid from 12 Feb), with the T12 due to have a new timetable from 18 March. https://lloydscoaches.com/bus-timetables/

In a rather unexpected move, the ORR have released 3 years of historical Origin Destination Matrix data. This means there is now a continuous run of data from April 2018 - March 2022 (with the period April 2022 - March 2023 due out some time in February.) It is available in the usual places...

The way journeys incorporating grouped stations are calculated (London, Birmingham, Manchester, etc.) is one of my gripes about the dataset. They seem to be calculated as a very rough percentage of overall journeys from the grouped station, and don't appear to take routing logic into account...

A query for someone local or someone in the know... I was recently compiling a timetable for the North Wales Mainline (file attached), and noticed that Conwy, Penmaenmawr and Llanfairfechan are no longer listed as request stops. Personally I think that this makes sense, especially for Conwy...
