Getting to Founders Arms from Blackfriars Station?

Nice setting for a pub but if it's ale you're after, it only sells bastardised Youngs.

    Recommendations for northern Germany

The Lößnitzgrundbahn from Radebeul Ost in the outskirts of Dresden has some stretches of street running. Not quite so spectacular as the Mollibahn though where you can sit drinking a beer within touching distance of the loco.

Shortest UK car number plate you've seen

Steve Parrish. Raced motorbikes up to GP level and then turned to truck racing. Not a short number but a few years ago someone local to me had BOL1OX.

A quick check shows it not currently allocated to a vehicle. 1712172927 There's a traction engine local to me registered FU92. Short but certainly not the impact of FU2. :)

End of the line for Paris’ iconic metro ticket

I’m travelling to/through Paris in May. I’ll be using RER from GDN to my destination. Are tickets for these services affected in the same way as the changes to the Metro ticketing system?

    Aviation trip reports thread.

Can't recall how long we were delayed but back in 1999 I was on a United 777 waiting to depart Chicago when officials came on board to remove a passenger and then there was the wait while their luggage was found and removed from the hold. All rather interesting if somewhat frustrated at the delay.
