Which stations should have a micropub?

I'm not sure we will be seeing many extra micropubs at stations for the foreseeable future. Micropubs do need a relative high density of people in a small place to be financially viable, and so station locations are likely to be doubly hit by social distancing, both within their premises, but...

    Nottingham 'Bus War'

I guess these are the Derby City ones? It would suggest there are no plans for further projects in Derby if that was the case

    Nottingham 'Bus War'

It has always been a struggle. Premiere couldn't make it work with clapped out E200s, anything more will just have more cost.i hope however they return to the skylink express brand. Skylink Clifton meant nothing to most travellers, and people tended to just use the one with Nottingham in its name.

Has anyone here ever got the wrong bus then had something bad happen?

For some very odd reason I once caught a NXWM 74 instead of the metro. The air was thick with cannabis smoke, and I am subject to random testing at work. To avoid it, I got off in Soho. Not a good day.

    Derby Resignalling - 22 July - 7 October 2018

I agree that when the north lines are blocked, the reversals become an issue on 3/4 (1 & 2 being out of service) that said, when it works, which is most of the time it is literally poetry in motion!

Express Airport Transfers (Europe) Ltd and The Skiers Lodge Ltd t/a Easybus

Did skiers lodge have any official link with easygroup? If not expect more legals. If so what an awful decision by easygroup.

    Derby Resignalling - 22 July - 7 October 2018

I vaguely remember reading somewhere (sorry no refs)that sunnyhill to Burton was recontrolled from EMCC but the relays are still in the PSB relay room because that part wasn't time expired. I will revisit my paper copies of Rail Engineer to confirm!

On Derbyshire county council's site now. Changes minimal. Interestingly the last change was 2017, surprisingly stable for YB.

    Cardiff Bus loss

I'm a very infrequent user of Cardiff bus, having to make a journey between Cardiff central and wentloog. I do find I need to leave an hour to make the journey, which seems to be a combination of really difficult traffic almost all day both in the city centre and cardiff bus not coping with it...

Trivia: Lines proposed but never built (or where a line should have been built)

The cross Birmingham tunnels get proposed from time to time, and I understand that the West Midlands combined authority have not ruled it out, once the camp hill works are bottomed out.

    Cross Country New Franchise

IveI just had a great experience with easyJet. Really shows what LCCs can do. It was about the soft product. The people. I can think of several TOCs who could really make a difference at little or no cost - it usually means treating your staff better.

Daily Mail Story: Charged for starting short on Advance ticket

NOT-STP advances are regularly available where BEE-STP aren't dispute Nottingham and Beeston being in the same station group. It could be argued that by joining at BEE, the off-peak single which would have been required has been avoided. Any thoughts on this scenario?
