hello, my husband works for Greater Anglia right now, but im keen to consider a move to Suffolk. Any Norwich drivers on here? Could anyone give me more information about how the working pattern works? He currently does 8 weeks on, 2 weeks off. 1 week of lates and then 1 of earlier etc etc...
Is it easy or even possible to return to driving Trains after a career break? or a sabbatical to do something else? Or do you completely lose your license and have to start from the beginning again?
I don't know why communication is so difficult for this company! We heard last week an start in 2... If you start in 2 weeks too I can't believe they haven't told you yet! Crazy!
Hubby got his contract yesterday too! Think they sorted his medical and contract quickly as we hassled about the need to give notice. He will be at Colchester and starts on 7 march! Yay!
Hi I'd specifically like to know what you get with GA - like free travel? How much? is there a limit and is it for family too?
But thought others may be keen to know about all the TOCs
He got told he passed there and then- apart from the urine drug test which he knows will be clear- takes two days to come back apparently x didn't know you are still waiting!
Should my husband be worries that he has a nasty cold and possible throat infection when his medical is tomorrow??
I'm assuming not as this is clearly a short term illness but he is worried! Medical isfor trainee train driver x
Thanks
Its for depot driver - he did originally want Clacton so maybe they are training for Clacton from 28 feb, then colchester from 7th March....but seems strangely close together!!
I dont know what to say.... i think HR are a bit confused ;)
Kevin has his medical on Friday, and a possible start date of 28 feb! Which is less than one months notice at his current job- he had to ask specifically. So if anyone else has to give one month notice somewhere I suggest you email HR to let them know you need to know asap.
It's not for...
Was that for Colchester/Clacton too? X

Did they tell you it was 6 people at this stage? Did they say how many positions? Argh- why would it take a few weeks- I really hope it doesn't like you say! X
