    Tony Blair

The Mein Kampf quote was in Private Eye. If Tory Blier was on fire I would urinate on him, after discharging a large and full oxygen tank on him. Thatcher started this country towards ruin, he finished it:cry:

    The good things about privatisation

Market forces, although it has calmed down as the number of TOCs has decreased. The TOCs saw it cheaper and easier to poach rather than fully train drivers, therefore I've seen my pay rise from a wage of £11,900 in 1997 to a clean salary of nearly £42k by 2010:wink:

    FGW Pullman

Unless you are 1st class, you are unlikely to get a meal, both the 1803 and 1903 ex Padd are very popular for full cooked meals with 1st class passengers. My opinion is taken from the queue when I walk past 9 minutes before departure.

An average 2+8 set on the up gets to 125 MPH just before Maidenhead. On the down, a good 2+7 is doing 125 at Stockley.

European countries you've visited for railways

Gave up the UK in 1993, lots of bashes on CIE, SNCB, NS, CFL, DB, PKP, CD, ZSR, MAV, Balkans and 1 visit to Greece. Just to light the touchpaper, gave DB up as boring in 1995 but did sample every diesel class except 242(?)

    Europes loudest Loco?!

My humble opinion. CD 751s IE 071s Any GM in the former JZ Greek Alcos SNCB 59s BR 37905/6 Don't think anything much of French or German diesels. And for those in the front coach of the Spanka 2, remember how painful it was north of Most na Soci:wink:

Can a DMU be dragged by a loco safely beyond its maximum speed?

:oops:Apologies TDK, have reread your post. I've seen some interesting speeds in the back cab, and heard a far few stories, an ex driver doing 100 through Upwey with an 155 20+ years ago:evil:

    'Hellfire' game problem

If it's the Stranraer address, then you may have a long wait. Paypal does work, but it did take me a few weeks. And yes, it's addictive:twisted: It's the only railway game I play. On week 45, have cleared my 45s, 46s, 50s,55s and all the 81s to 87s:D Down to 45x25, 5x26, 2x27, 8x31, 4x33...
