    Just Eat Service Charge

Just Eat takes a set percentage of each order as commission. It used to be 13% of each order but that could have changed. Pretty sure they also have an admin fee for each billing period too.

    Football

Very delighted Hearts supporter here tonight. Totally wiped the floor with them with quite a few players missing.

    Car rental query.

You can get an annual one for £39.99, it can be £15+ per day to zero your excess with some rental companies.

    Car rental query.

Can also recommend insurance4carhire. Had to make a claim with them previously & it was paid out hassle free. They also do a policy per day as well as the annual one. Would certainly recommend one of these policies over the rip off they try to get you take out at the rental desk. The only issue...

    Car rental query.

It's a pretty standard thing when hiring a car that they ask for this. Pretty sure there is also a higher chance of recovering any additional costs that may be incurred such as damage etc from a credit card. They also take a security deposit when you pick it up by making a pre-authorisation...

    Delay Repay Question

It's all irrelevant now as she managed to make the 1640 connection by a quick dash at Newcastle so turns out there ain't going to have been any delay after all. Thanks for the help and advice though guys as it did throw up some curious hypothetical questions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Delay Repay Question

She only became aware of it at 1455 whilst sitting on the XC at Edinburgh but at this point the doors were locked as they were coupling 2 units together and the VTEC was leaving from platform 2 whereas she was on 11 at the other side of Waverley. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Delay Repay Question

Sorry her original itinerary should have been 1404 Motherwell to Edinburgh (XC) 1500 Edinburgh to Newcastle (VTEC) 1640 Newcastle to Hartlepool (Northern) Instead she was allowed to stay on the XC train which she boarded at Motherwell but would have left Edinburgh after the 1500 VTEC one which...

    Delay Repay Question

My partner is currently on an Advance ticket from Motherwell to Hartlepool which consisted of the 1404 XC service to Newcastle where she was supposed to change on to the 1500 VTEC London Kings Cross service. This was showing on National Rail Enquiries as being delayed by 1hr 51mjns when last...

Changing a Standard Advance to a First Advance

Not sure if it will have changed now it's VTEC but when it was East Coast before the franchise change I upgraded from std to 1st class on advances online & was charged the £10 admin fee. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New VTWC (Virgin Trains West Coast) first class weekend upgrade prices from June 2016

Seen this happen on the service I was on yesterday, the TM who worked the service from Euston to Wolverhampton was selling them at the old prices and endorsing the tickets as did the TM who boarded at Wolverhampton but then they changed again at Preston that TM was selling them at the new...

New VTWC (Virgin Trains West Coast) first class weekend upgrade prices from June 2016

I'm currently on a Euston to Glasgow service just now and upgraded. The train manager did the £15 upgrade as far ads it now takes you then endorsed it for the remainder of the journey. Sent from my Lenovo A5500-H using Tapatalk

I know the guard you mean, I was on one of his services a few weeks ago & my partner has had him a few times. Very nice guy!

Haha, don't work in any role within the rail industry. Bookkeeper in an accountancy practice.
