    WNXX website not being updated?

I hope he's ok, there's been no updates for two weeks now which I don't recall ever happening before.

Hi, this is a long shot but you put a post out in 2014 saying you were getting rid of Diagram Diary 1989-1994. I am trying to get hold of the Diagram Diaries - I don't suppose you still have them?

Hi, can anyone confirm what 68012 is working today please?

    Northern Driver Vacancy - Manchester

I just submitted the application, I hadn't heard anything about reaching the next stage. I have applied previously and reached the interview stage twice, but not progressed beyond that.

    Northern Driver Vacancy - Manchester

Yes I had an email a few weeks ago saying that the vacancy is no longer a vacancy and if I was still interested I should keep an eye on vacancies on the website! This was almost six months after the closing date and I find this approach disappointingly dismissive. Interesting what has now...

    Northern Driver Vacancy - Manchester

I'm another one that hasn't heard anything since the closing date (18 Dec). I checked the acknowledgement and it said "We will aim to be in touch within the next 2 - 4 weeks to update you on your application, however please be aware this may take longer due to the volume of applications we...

So does this mean that 233 won't be working at the MNR on 30th now?

    Cumbrian Coast Loco Hauled Stock

Where do you all get your gen from so quickly? If I were to want hear about a NB 37 (not 37/4) in time to get out for it, where do I need to sign up?

    Cumbrian Coast Loco Hauled Stock

Agreed, I've had three runs on this recently while I can - I honestly never thought I would be scoring tractors on service trains again, particularly no heat ones and over three days had 5 new ones, including 3 no heat. Just checked my records and last time I had a winner on a service train...

    Cumbrian Coast Loco Hauled Stock

There's been one set with a DBSO and one with a tractor on each end in recent days. This page is updated very regularly and shows the latest workings: http://c37lg.co.uk/2015/1508work.aspx

    Cumbrian Coast Loco Hauled Stock

I've got a day off work on Monday for doing this, can anyone tell me what the chances of a the DBSOs being in place on Monday is? Is my hope of a 37 on each end next week still realistic?

Freightliner Intermodal after trainee drivers across UK

I'm disappointed too (no phone call) but wouldn't be too hard on yourself. Wasn't it something like 8,000 applications for 15 places? Even if we were among the very best, say the top 1% of applications, they still have to whittle it down somehow and it could be very minor things that discount...

Freightliner Intermodal after trainee drivers across UK

Thanks guys, I'm encouraged! I'm often impressed by the optimism and goodwill on these forum discussions.

Freightliner Intermodal after trainee drivers across UK

Has anyone been offered a telephone interview this week (or in the last few days)? It looks like it's time to assume those of us that haven't heard anything have not been successful now? If so, that will be my sixth time unsuccessful after varying degrees of progression down the application...

Freightliner Intermodal after trainee drivers across UK

I'm in Manchester, there's also Crewe which is close and I would have though most likely to be assigned.

Yes I agree, let's keep it fair. Freightliner read these forums and occasionally add a helpful comment, so we don't want to upset them.

Freightliner Intermodal after trainee drivers across UK

I've thrown my hat in the ring too! I also applied for HH last year and also think this sounds like a better move, here's hoping...

Freightliner Intermodal after trainee drivers across UK

Hi, am I right in thinking intermodal driving is more regular shift patterns than HH and does anyone have a rough idea how this works (particularly from Crewe), thanks.

Freightliner trainee driver positions ('Graduate scheme')

Hi all, I notice that Freightliner are advertising the driver graduate scheme again today. It sounds like it is for intermodal from the description, can anyone confirm or deny this, or have any knowledge about which depots and what they are looking for?

Freightliner trainee driver positions ('Graduate scheme')

No letter or email for me (including today's post) and I also put No to relocating, which is the honest answer with having children in school, a wife with a job, a mortgage.... It would be a shame if that was enough to dismiss an application, as I thought my application was pretty strong...
