An Alsager to Manchester Stations ticket at £69.50 (same price as Kidsgrove but allows travel via Crewe) is valid via both Crewe & Kidsgrove and is valid to East Didsbury.
As she was not refused travel because of her disability there is no discrimination.

Using the Stena website and selecting special offers there are £10 tickets from Belfast to Liverpool leaving at 1030 arriving at 1830. An advance from Lime Street to Euston on the 1947 is currently £23.00
But the T&Cs do not state a valid coonection; they state "You may not start, break and resume, or end your journey at any intermediate station except to change to/from connecting trains as shown on the ticket(s) or other valid travel itinerary."
