SWR Trainee Drivers at Staines, Woking and Waterloo

Nothing implied, just that there has been one course per month this year, I have only heard about Septembers course starting so far and nothing beyond. In terms of waiting, 2 on my course were called on the Friday to start on the Monday. I had about 3 weeks notice. I also know of others who have...

SWR Trainee Drivers at Staines, Woking and Waterloo

That's a slight exaggeration I'm afraid. This year there has been one course a month with approx 10/12 trainees on each. So far only courses up to September are confirmed...........

    GTR/1403 - Ashford depot

Evening all, I have mixed views. whilst there has been some VERY valuable advice on here that has no doubt helped me and others get to the enviable positions, whether it be talent pool or already training - there is also some that really ought to be taken with a pinch of salt. Ashford depot may...

The wait is finally over after sitting the MMI on Friday, got a call this morning to say that I had passed - thanks again for the invaluable posts on this forum. I was told that January and February are full, and they are just waiting on dates for March onward.

Thanks for the replies, less than 24 hours and already I'm climbing the walls waiting on my result! I was in there for 1hr 40mins and still can't gauge how it went, There wasn't a vast amount of probing questions only the "how did you feel" at the end of each question, and on a couple of...

I wrote mine down straight after we'd been let out. I don't think there is any rhyme or reason behind doing the DMI or MMI first, both I believe are filtering stages so makes no difference which way round. I'm not sure if you get told straight away, although I'm sure there are others on here...

I'm not as anxious about the MMI to be honest, I have given examples that I am confident on speaking about in depth so hopefully that will see me through. That said, the nearer the date gets that could all change :D I'm pretty flexible on depot's too, Kent or Cricklewood would be great,

I waited mate - it was tough, but decided to just let it run its course, what will be will be.

I was the same mate, to be honest it's not nearly as bad you think. Just get there in plenty of time so that you're not rushing about and have a bit of time time to mull over your notes before you go in. Be confident in what you are saying, and most importantly in my opinion take your time...

I was given a choice of dates in October, I opted for the later part as I have some other commitments.
