I have to agree here. Don't take this trainee role lightly. It's a hard course, and one to be taken with both hands. I'm nearing the end of my 230 hours driving with my minder, Mod 7 is looming.

As far as I am aware there won't be any more trainee driver courses until the "back end of the year, if at all". Leeds now has a vast list of current trainees and no driver trainers.

What benefit would that bring?

For Leeds it's - 21k - 34k - 38k and then your full wage of; - 48k

I'm a little shocked at that. Surely you like your job in the sense that you're a train driver. Most people would love the chance to be one. Most jobs are boring and monotonous :D
