Thanks for the quick reply. I visited Mroc in the past and I’ve now gathered that different links have completely different setups.

Hi all, does anyone know how the Liverpool workstation work at MRoc? I have looked at some maps etc and I know locations but does anyone know if it’s controlled via ARS or DRS. Also is it the usual 2 on 2 off over there ? Thanks in advance

Hi. I am interested in transferring from TBROC to Manchester ROC for the grade 8 workstations. (Currently a 9 at TBROC) I would just like to know whether the break systems are the same (2 on 1 off or 2 on 2 off) as this works for me as I get time to use the gym or catch up on other work. I know...

Hi all, has any experienced signallers got any tips for a fellow signaller taking the leap from a lever framed box (TCB area) to a VDU workstation setup in the near future? Any reads ? Excited to say the least! Thanks

Gloves, wipes, hand sanitiser (LOTS) and face masks! It's hard to keep the 2 metres distance when doing a handover in such a small place!!

I work at a single manned location, I've covered one shift since the whole covid situation. My box also has 5 or so area relief signallers to cover shifts, we've only had a couple signallers go off for self isolation! On the other hand, a mate down at an undisclosed grade 9 location has been...

Hi all, I have applied for New Cross Gate signal box recently. Does anyone have any information on the panels? is it NX or VDU? Will the box be getting transferred to a ROC any time soon? Also I've read on here that it is ran on 12 hr roster, can anyone confirm this? Thanks

Anybody in the same situation as me?

Thanks I hope so! I know I went wrong with the group bourdon by trying to go too fast it was definitely a case of missing boxes out rather than not doing enough

Anybody in the same situation as me?

I failed the assessments in 2013 with FGW. Failed again in 2015 with LOROL but I called the OPC cause I was so shocked how I had failed and they told me I met the standard for LOROL on all tests except the group bourdon which I had met national standard thus meaning I have passed stage 1...
