The X31 evening service is a Wiltshire Contract so anyone could operate it from January (including First bus who may have suggested that it is a case of the revenue being too low rather than them not wanting to do it anymore according to a notice seen at Bath Bus Station).

How would you know this? This is a Wiltshire Contract do you have information form either Wiltshire or Faresaver to confirm they are not interested?

Anyone got any info on the First Discovery changes please?

On a slightly different note, anyone seen the new First Discovery D2 / D3 timetables which start 10th November according to Gov.uk ?

I have it on good authority that the Discover has grown the market, perversely to the benefit of Faresaver who have seen increased loadings in the past 12 months.
