Thanks to all for posting so far, its great to know that the support for this idea is there and I am looking forward to being able to release more infomation and ticket details in the near future. In the mean time keep posting as it is really helpfull to understand the level of interest.

This is completely genuine and as I said at this stage we are deciding how best to promote the draw and how much appeal it will have. The draw will be conducted under licence and everyone who enters will be made completely aware of what the project is for which the money will be used.

I can honestly say that this train is absolutely and positively the dogs jacobs! it is a dream to drive and very comfortable for the passengers too. Southeastern have had drivers form Eurostar beating a path to the door to drive them but have had to recruit from within first. As for being slower...
