    Would’ve thought when 67/72Mk1 stock was scrapped things like motors,MAs,compressors,PCMs and door & brake valves were recovered for a float of spares for 72Mk2 stock.

    Depots have tube crushers,glass ends up in box at the bottom,the powder inside is washed away.

    Trains are prepped every 24 hrs by rolling stock staff.T/Ops also do a check on the train before leaving depot.

    Unless it’s changed since I retired Stratford crews do dead earlies,middle turns and late turns.North Greenwich crews do earlies,middle turns,dead lates and nights.

    If a traction package is cut out won’t the regen brake fail to work and the train will be using friction braking all the time.This happened on rheostatic brake stock.On the Victoria Line this resulted in less precise station braking with stopping short incidents.

    Xover south of Finchley Rd is Swiss Cottage disused station is often used during disruption also been used if line south of Finchley Rd is closed for engineering work.Don’t know if Xover north end of Finchley Rd is still there since segregation of Jubilee and Met Lines.
