Wiring looking complete on the southbound side as far as Crossmyloof station this morning whilst the northbound wiring stopping just short of the Titwood Road bridge. A couple of pictures from this morning:

Wasn't there issues with signal sighting between Crosshill and Mount Florida in the 385s? They only lasted a few weeks on Newton/Neilston/Circle services when they arrived before being taken off.

Went by Strathbungo this morning and not a lot of activity going on. Noticed that the tree felling has left about a 50 meter gap just south of the pedestrian footbridge where everything has been cut back; couldn't see much evidence of pruning anywhere else in the area.

Glasgow Central: There was a piece on the "Inside Central Station" programme last week which the station tour guide was talking about the cab road that used to be on the western side of the station.

Saw the Hydroflex in Central this morning and 230001 came in as my train was leaving.

Mrs Thatcher and the miners spring to mind! And I think Sturgeon takes things a lot more personally.

Somewhat optimistically Central Station has been plastered with stickers and posters saying "COP26 - Thank you for travelling by train".

Was over in Strathbungo this morning for the first time in a couple of weeks and masts have now been installed for about three quarters of the length between the Minard Road and Nithsdale Road bridges, and foundations looked to be in place for most (if not all) other masts. A couple of the masts...

I went by on Sunday and was all quiet as the line was open. Looked like some work had been completed during the week as masts were installed for about half the distance between Titwood Road bridge and the Strathbungo footbridge:

They go via Mount Florida to Newton when diverted, it's not unusual to see them going that way on a Sunday morning even when there's no diversions, presumably keeping up route knowledge.

What about the six month rule? I didn't get anywhere with the December vacancies at Glasgow Central, is the six month wait before you can apply again just a First rule or a general railways rule?
