If Meldon Quarry is to reopen, then the railway station for passenger services could reopen as well. It would assist with the walkers on to Dartmoor! It would only require a weekend service. Plus it’s another mile to reconnecting the line to Plymouth.

I understand Woking has quite a few vacancies. As for Guildford, I will have a dig tomorrow. Due to Covid, all training courses for guards were suspended in March. Several guards have left since, some going up to driver, others retired. I also have a Teams interview for Woking guard this week.
