    Speedlink

Does anyone think how interesting BR utilised the old stock for their speedlink services? It's honestly so cool to see an old 60s brake van with the coal sectors logo on it as well as OBAs and all the old Ferry Vans having more modern schemes on them.

    Station overrun procedure

Well obviously trains are on a schedule therefore it would require maybe a 30 second delay which is not the best as most trains are tight (obviously again) so they need to be as accurate as possible, the emergency brake is necessary as the emergency brake is 1-5% more effective than full service.

    Level crossing incident Horsham 28/1/19

Well. There are some single branch lines that only have red flashing lights and no barriers and that seems to be enough to warn drivers. You do have the argument that they are only used to both but they could obviously see the other barrier so they would've just needed some common sense that...

Why are people opposed to HS2? (And other HS2 discussion)

Well. In order to build the line it will have to cut through dozens of properties which will without a doubt enrage the landowners. That's a reason.

Island Line Railway - current state and the future
