    Dangerous boarding procedures at Euston

I'm on the train. As soon as it was announced we seeheaded down from the top of the ramp and the screens at the platform were already showing "platform closing in 2 minutes 54 seconds" To be clear, the train was not moved until a member of platform staff had got the two clear. He had to ask...

    Dangerous boarding procedures at Euston

Several people just got left behind at Euston from the 12.46 Crewe because it was only announced 4 minutes before departure. Two of those were actually on the platform and delayed departure briefly because they were refusing to step back from the train - one of them at least was keeping his...

    All Line Rover Restrictions

No, because it's not intended to stop people passing through the stations - only to stop them getting on or off specific trains at those specific stations. Barring any use of those trains for passing through the stations would render the ticket virtually worthless.

LNER to pilot removal of Off-Peak tickets

I'd agree. We've had this discussion on the forum many times, and it's been shown that the vast majority of runs do reach 140 or very close to it between Stratford and Ebbsfleet and Ebbsfleet and Ashford. I'm not sure what all this has to do with LNER's fares hike, though...?

    Class 321 storage/scrapping

I'm sure they tweeted only last month that they're having a total fleet size of ten? I'll have a look... see if I can find it... Edited: Had a look - I think it was actually someone asking a question rather than they themselves saying it...

Sudden increase in my camera's photo sizes

If it's anything like a Nikon, the bit in the menu will be called "picture size" and will say S, M or L. I'd suspect you've accidentally selected L. That is of course Small, Medium and Large.

Derailment between Hersham & Walton on Thames (04/03)

Didn't we have a similar incident a few years ago involving an HST and a length of rail in Scotland?

    Nikon Lens

I'd agree those daytime shots look perfectly good to me ( and I see you have a nice few from a heritage day in my neck of the woods... :) ). It would still be helpful if you could post a few of the ones you're not happy with - if we can see them, we might be able to tell you what is happening...
