Southport to Salford Quays (multi mode)

I think I may need a think if I want the hassle of travel when I currently just waltz out of a station and walk for 2 mins. Cheers all for the help.

Southport to Salford Quays (multi mode)

Previously had a question about Southport to Manchester answered fantastically here before so I thought I'd try again with a similar one. I've been approached for a position in Salford Quays so may need to figure out a new way of getting there (Monday to Friday, Mornings/Evenings with no...

Southport to Manchester (Any Permitted Route)

Sorted. Guess I'll be letting the train take the strain very often soon!

Southport to Manchester (Any Permitted Route)

Crikey. Quite a powerful ticket then! What's the method to work this out, if there is such a one? Is it any station between the start and end that can be travelled via on a single ticket? Say if I set Southport to Manchester via St Michaels for example, it will sell me just a single ticket...

Southport to Manchester (Any Permitted Route)

Ah yes. Didn't notice South Parkway was accessible via the city line as well as the northern line. Guess it makes it an absolute no brainer to have the any permitted route then. I suppose my final question would be...Northern Smart card season ticket or the older style with photocard? I'll...

Southport to Manchester (Any Permitted Route)

Yeah that's my thought about it. My gf works in Huyton which is actually on the line from Manchester to Liverpool so was eyeing up that as a benefit as sometimes we head away after work and I could meet her at work and catch the motorway from there. I just think I may get confused looks from...

Southport to Manchester (Any Permitted Route)

Thank you for that clarity. Makes it quite appealing then! I guess that means I could conceivably use the season ticket for weekend journey's between Southport and Moorfields or Central with no problems? Also if I were to perhaps go on other routes from Liverpool, maybe to somewhere like...

Southport to Manchester (Any Permitted Route)

First of all, have no railcards to will get that out of the way. Southport to Manchester 5 days a week at least. Needing to get a season ticket from between Southport and Man Victoria. Two options, normal or any permitted route. I can only think of one route anyway, northern service always via...

It's also possible they won't interview 5. They won't just lower standards to get to 5. Only 7 were interviewed for the two positions of which I got 1.

True. But it's definitely still there on the main careers website, I only check the externals to help a friend find a job.

If you've received a letter telling you how much you're due there was a formula on it. I've not got a letter as I'm that new but I have seen it

Do all signal boxes have computers then to access emails etc? I'd have thought some of the more rural ones would struggle to get internet to them.

One of my partner's bests friends is head of HR for a large company, it's the main thing she recommends, tailoring your CV for whatever role or company you are applying to. For one it shows you've read the JD or people spec.

You can copy and paste it back out of an application if you log in. I can't quite remember how as it's been over 6 months since I applied but it'll save you typing it all up again .

What train and freight operating companies operate on it. Where actually is the box. What type of box it is. What type of line is it, electrified or diesels etc It doesn't need to be massively detailed nor specialised .
