Oh perhaps it's the other way round. Maybe it;s just not safe at all. But we'll leave that to the professionals to figure out, not the armchair experts.

It is symbolic, but not helpful all the same. Same reason why I wish drivers would not get involved. Their whacking great pay packet just gives the right wing rags something to get their teeth into. Oh wait!

If we could just for a moment return to what this thread is supposed to be about. Northernrail are trying to introduce self despatch at Leeds if no managers are available to despatch. So if I were to self despatch on a non strike day I would be hauled over the coals, but on a strike day it...

Well it's a bit like the first world war poem isn't it. " Oh Tommy this, oh Tommy that, oh Tommy go away . But it's thank you Mr Atkins when the band begins to play"

It's all part of Johnsons high wage economy. Please don't tell me it was all a fantasy. Doesn't take long for the selfish to forget the lessons of 2020 does it. I wonder who he will blame for the coming inflationary fare rises, we'll he can't blame the workers can he? Sure somebody will appear...

The problem begins with people who criticise others but don't walk in their shoes. It continues with people low down the ladder kicking those a rung lower. And the biscuit is taken by those who were happy to sit at home being paid whilst others put their health at risk. All that hand clapping...

Today's pensioners are the most affluent in history thanks largely to ballooning housing prices. The grey rinse brigade keep this lot in power. You expect the working young to provide you with increased pension pots whilst happily criticising them for asking for a pay rise. The older generation...

It serves his purpose to pick a fight. I mean, It takes the news that he tried to get a £100k job for his mistress at the time out of the headlines. But don't worry, once the heat returns he'll be off to the Ukraine again for another photo shoot.

Unions and supposed links with the Labour Party.

How can they be Labour strikes when the Tories have been in power for 12 years? Some people will listen to any old tripe and believe it.

One of the biggest assaults on the working class was the endless attacks on pensions. Pensions are my red line in the sand.

Absolutely fine. I'm not on strike either because I dropped out of the RMT years ago. But the government are still liars, and me being the fair minded type will try and see both sides of the coin. I think the timing is wrong also. But when is a time ever right? But the point is this, even I am...

I was in at 4.30 this morning and home for 10am. I don't mind doing the odd Sunday overtime either, put in for this Sunday coming weeks ago now. Now some hairy ars** striker who never usually works a Sunday will grab anything going due to our equalisation agreement.
