I can’t imagine they would ask current employers for safety of the line records until candidates have been through their recruitment process (probably rules test and manager interview) and then accepted a job.

I have direct H&S experience in legionella management and this is being blown massively out of proportion by the Union. Given there are probably real battles around the corner this is a massive waste of time and reputation.
