After several weeks we have received an apology from NR for the failure to provide booked passenger assistance at a London rail terminal. No redress is offered. Is this the usual response and limit of what can be expected by way of apology from National Rail?
LNER now offering complimentary wine and beer in 1st class all week and also weekends along with water, hot drinks, sandwiches, crisps and biscuits. A considerable improvement. Some refreshments KGX lounge but not EDI or BWK yet.
Does anyone know why the weekday LNER service from Inverness does not stop at Berwick resulting in no direct service to London at 1212? It interrupts an otherwise hourly service to London.
