Not sure what contract will say as nothing like this has happened for such a long time many buses are running empty as people being told to stay of public transport especially those most at risk many who normally use buses especially during day time.

Anyone hearing that stagecoach going down to a Saturday or Sunday service from Monday because of the coravirus? Looks like schools will be shut from Friday till August so big loss on school contracts as well.

Think you need to say where your info has come from as there's people jobs at risk if this is true.

Yeh they have definitely takeing there eye of the ball and now putting most of the money into express routes where there makeing the big bucks and winning awards and forgetting local routes and the shortages of buses in Dunfermline should have been dealt with weeks ago.

Last night 4 new arrivals buses at dunfermline depot to help with shortages they are enviro 200 believe they are up from wigan.

Oh I never new that lol joking aside the school contracts obviously getting prioritised over the normal timetables not sure how many buses they are short of breakdowns will make situation even worse.

Still numerous cancellation of buses in and around the dunfermline area hard to believe going into the third week of not haveing enough buses that they haven't sourced extra buses from somewhere to solve this problem!

Hopefully no one will loose there job what ever the final outcome of the bus situation in the lothian area something has gone wrong that richard Hall is leaveing at such short notice but only those round the big table makeing the decisions no what plans lie ahead or do they!

Will changes be in the new year? Is it express services that are changing or local services as well I heard X61 definitely times being reviewed.

Sadly I don't think the council is going to come up with any plans to solve the transport problems in the city centre so buses are going to suffer delays it will get worse when new St. James centre opens next year wich will attract thousands we can live in hope tho.

The council have got to come up with radical proposels not just shifting traffic from A to B and encourage people out of there vehicles to using public transport so less congestion in the heart of the city would mean buses would move quicker and be more reliable so hopefully more people would...

definitely agree that tradesmen and delivery vehicles could get access during certain times of the day out with peak times under a permit scheme.

Think the time has come to ban all cars and vans from the city centre let the buses trams and taxis run without having the congestion either end of princes Street as this is where most people want to get on and off using public transport.

Don't think it will run this year as from 29th July stagecoach increasing there services between Edinburgh and fife to 12 buses a hour so there will be no need for it this year.

You would think these council tenders would be sorted by now as discussing being going on for sometime with public asked there views to any subsidised service they use stagecoach did say this week on twitter 3 weeks before July changes till confirmed timetables published not sure why as no more...
