I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this before but today I noticed masts to the west of Reading on the former goods lines. I believe them to be the very first ones placed as part of the new scheme. perhaps this thread could be used to update the progress of them spreading.

I've just seen a CL67 heading light engine onto the Whatley Quarry branch which is most unusual. I assume it's been subbbed in place of the usual 59 to haul a stone train. I thought this might be of interest to anyone who wanted to see this.

Hi there. I witnessed a Class 67 with about 6 Anglia Mk2s pass southbound through Bradford-On-Avon today at around 13:15. There didn't appear to be any passengers on board from what I could see. Does anyone know what is was doing? cheers

I thought the virgin 86 painted in 1960s BR livery had been scrapped a while back, but today i saw a class 86 (86240 i think) in 1960s BR livery looking ex works at derby. Can anyone shed any light on this, tell me when this happened and who owns it? cheers my first post by the way
