Cheers for your input. There are however, plenty of TOCs asking for between 12-18 months post qualified experience, some of which I’ve applied to already. If they wanted 24 months+ experience, I’m sure they’d specify in the adverts.

Had a phone call from the HR people today. Apparently they had one immediate vacancy for externals, which they’ve filled (presumably with the Driver from Northern you mentioned) and I’ll be on the Talent Pool list for any prospective future vacancies!

Had an interview with the driver managers on the 20th Jan, but haven’t heard anything back yet. They said in the interview that I should have heard something by Friday just gone, so I’ve emailed to chase it up - but still awaiting a reply!
