    Awaiting start with TFL

After accepting the conditional offer of employment I was issued a list of dates I could start training. If I recall it correctly it was about a dozen consecutive Mondays starting from around 4 weeks after my interview and I was required to choose maybe 6 dates. I'm not sure if travel time is...

    Awaiting start with TFL

CSA2 training is now only 5 days at Ashfield and the following Monday you're back for the first aid course. The next 4 days you are "shadowing" at your allocated station/stations and familiarising yourself at the station. Wasn't sure this was going to be the right way to learn but definitely...

London Underground Night Tube CSA (29/08/21)

The advice I'd like to offer is that all of us that sit the role play haven't been taught the policy's and regulations that are required until training is completed. Because of that I think the assessors just want to see how your personality reacts to difficult situations, so I'd say don't worry...

    CSA2 - London Underground (07/06/21)

Good evening all! Having accepted this position , completing the required forms, uniform sizes etc, I emailed them to the onboarding email address a couple of weeks back. I'm waiting to hear from Reed Talent solutions for references, criminality check and sit the medical. I've not heard from...

    CSA2 - London Underground (07/06/21)

Thanks for the link. So other outgoings would be pension contributions or is that calculated in the estimator, union subs, possible season ticket loan. Is london weighting still a thing? Is that an included in the salary? Thanks! 1629459504 I'm probably not the best to take advice from but...

    CSA2 - London Underground (07/06/21)

Thanks for that attachment Mawkie. Unfortunately Potters Bar into Kings Cross isn't included. Maybe a season ticket for that route will be well used rather than High Barnet into town.

    CSA2 - London Underground (07/06/21)

So I've managed to get myself offered the position of a CSA2. To be honest I was relaxed and doubtful I'd be deemed suitable as a old fella but there you go. I can pick a start date between mid October and late November which suits me well as I need to get some finances in order as I'll be...

    CSA2 - London Underground (07/06/21)

Apologies but I'm a bit embarrassed to ask this question but hey ho. I've an assessment booked next week at Ashfield House and am unsure as to what attire will be appropriate. Suit and tie? Smart / Casual? Thanks:s

    Underground CSA full time

I wasn't knocking it. I know that there are certain gigs out there that sound far more appealing than other jobs. As I've been working for myself, you could say it's been self inflicted, but if I didn't enjoy it I wouldn't have done it. It's paid off the mortgage so fingers crossed I can look to...

Blimey, 37 days annual leave. I wouldn't know what to do with myself. I've only had bank holidays for the last 22 years.

MTR Crossrail Trainee Driver (Multiple Locations)

Hopefully the same thing hasn't happened to you, which happened to me and MayMay another forum member who seems to have disappeared. Looking at my MTR login, the status had changed to "missed second assessment deadline" or similar. On contacting the OPC, I was informed that my results had been...

Hi MayMay, thanks for letting me know. When I log into the MTR site it still shows as 0 Applications in progress and 3 emails older than 3 weeks. The suspense is killing me lol.

Do you kind people remember how long you waited for a response after taking the initial OPC SJT test? Twenty days is up for me today but I'm not sure if that is relevant to the OPC. I'm looking forward to hearing one way or the other.
