Like I said - I'm sure she has great test scores too, take nothing away, but if gender of the applicant is a genuine factor in the recruitment process, a factor which gives you a competitive edge, then there was literally nothing I could have done about it! Good luck to her I wish you the best...

Had York as my first choice, not heard anything yet either way. Hopefully there will be a January or February slot.

I think i'm correct in saying that you need to wait 6 months after being rejected to reapply to northern. If you applied recently and got rejected that might be why you received such a rapid response, they just discounted your application.

Good luck. I too have applied for northern on several occasions in the past and have never made it past the paper sift. Not sure what else i can do to overcome this as other TOC's have progressed my application further so i'm guessing my CV and cover letter are up to standard?

I personally would still apply if it's just a few minuets difference.

Hi Jimbo, I'm in the same boat, messaged GA last week and received no reply. There is a thread on this topic and from reading that, it appears that if you have not heard back within 6 months then your application is void. Or so i'm told.

So if i was to apply for EM again in the future would i need to resit the GBT? Or would they take into account that I have already complete it previously with them?
