    The 12:03 from King's Cross was, according to the LNER booking system supposed to be an Azuma. Turned out to be a HST missing coaches A and G. Not a regular on the ECML but it's not good to hear that quite a few services are short formed.

    Errm... That's a hard question: I really want to say the 800s, because they are so popular with TOCs and are a fairly groundbreaking train. But I can't because of the 'ironing board' seats. It'll have to be the 331s.

    I saw a TPE train pull into platform 2 at York station at around 1705 yesterday. It said ‘special train’ on the front and was carrying people. Any ideas what it could be?
