Just wondering are any draft copies or example copies of the Crossrail timetables available yet (for when the full line opens between Reading and Shenfield and Abbey Wood)?

Tfl published a proposed Network Statement for their infrastructure back in August here, with a consultation about it:

https://consultations.tfl.gov.uk/ra...d_infrastructure_designation_consultation.pdf

...it is primarily a consultation process about network access rules, but there's a fairly good analysis of the service patterns here:

http://diamondgeezer.blogspot.co.uk/2016/08/crossrail-service-pattern.html

I've not seen anything that would look similar to a normal timetable though.

Interesting. Thanks for the links. Im surprised to see that not all trains will be stopping at Acton Main Line / West Ealing / Hanwell stations. It also looks like there will no longer be any direct trains between West Ealing and Hanwell any more! Am i correct in thinking that Crossrail will replace all of the GWR stopping trains?

I wonder why west Ealing isnt shown as an interchange when it would be the only way of getting on the greenford branch.

They replace all the 'all stations GWR' trains, however there are still some GW stops for interchange in the area. The peak and off peak Crossrail and GW calls are shown here:

There is also a journey time planner on the Crossrail site if you scroll right down here: http://www.crossrail.co.uk/route/western-section/

I'm getting the feeling we've discussed all this before though, (including the skip stopping of the Crossrail trains), but I just can't find the thread...

I expect the GWR service shown on the service pattern (linked above) will actually be joined 'across Reading' to form the half hourly Oxford stopper west of Reading. It is anticipated that the electrification 'issues' will see this become an EMU service as far as Didcot, with a connecting DMU to Oxford.

The other half hourly 'stopper' east of Reading will be the 2 tph Crossrail service.

A journey such as Taplow to Tilehurst will require a change at any one of a number of locations.
