The ‘Explore The Capital Day Ranger’ for Cardiff does not include Lisvane & Thornhill station - which is within the City of Cardiff. This is incredibly mean as this station serves the wonderful Cefn Onn Park. So, what is one supposed to do? Buy an additional ticket from Llansihen to Lisvane? I also note that a fare hike exists between Llanishen and Lisvane. Surely this induces residents of Lisvane to drive south to Llanishen station - where parking is a nightmare due to limited space. Goodness knows why some railway land was flogged off years ago for the site to become a vets? Overspill parking in residential streets at Llanishen takes place. Furthermore, Llanishen is the nearest station to all the new development in NE Cardiff. The last thing that is needed is a price hike between Llanishen and Lisvane which dissuades local people using Lisvane & Thornhill station.
