um let me think, i think that bubbles beat dessie's hands down,
even with all the trying in the world the 444 mafia are not going to win this one.

Would have to be a Bubble Car.

Any first Gen DMU beats a Desiro or any other 3rd rail crap any day.

Must make time to bash it somewhen, but still haven't seen many piccies of it in service, I preumse it is running now then is it?
Jim it's been running since around July mate,I see it quite often going over the "top" as I come into Cardiff central. It's a right little beast & seems to have been well accepted by the local traincrews. It has central door locking as well using additional plates on the bottom of the doors that are now wired into the units system making a very simple but effective "TIS" (traction interlock switch).

tom just a quick question why do you always put everything up against the 444's, you know that they will never win, why not 121/960 vs 442? at least they are from the same era(br days) not a new build?

Whoever voted 444's must be n00bs when it come to railways  Anyone who remembers the way it used to be 5-10 years ago would definately not vote 444!!! What is the world coming to......!?!?

And lets not forget... Class 960 also includes such beastly classes such as ex-117's, and once ex-101 "Iris2", though this has since been renumbered 901xxx .... There was also a 141 in the 960 number series once !!!

Why are you publishing people's names/choices when it does not state this is a public poll? :p Anyway, as for my choice it'd be any first-gen!

Well to be honest it's not really a good poll as the two trains in question were built to do different jobs, unlike the 444/442 poll.

An unfair comparison!
The planet doesn't revolve around the third (rail) world Tom!!
