This is all pretty exciting stuff if it comes to fruition. More capacity and improvements at Sheffield, Leeds, York and Doncaster, new stations for Rotherham and Bradford and work on Rotherham to Sheffield Supertram.

I do think Barnsley should have direct tram or train links with Rotherham and Doncaster at some point.
I also wonder what improvements for services to Scarborough and Whitby will mean?
