Is anyone able to confirm how badly damaged 318258 was in the fire at Motherwell?

Also is it still at Shields?

Have seen one mention that it might be a write off

It was an oil leak that combusted. Once at Shields the damage is discovered to actually be "not that bad".

I'd be surprised if it was written off.

Is it repairable at Shields or will it need to go to Brodies or another works for repair? And is there an approx date for return?

318258 just about to leave Shields Depot for Yoker before returning to service on the 0647 Dalmuir to Larkhall
