37075 Churnet Valley Running Days

While on the bash with 37254 yesterday the gen filtered through regarding running days at the Churnet Valley with 37075, I have the dates on my phone but noticed a posting on wnxx by Geordie this morningso though I would quote it here, would be good to get as many people as possible down for 075 as a few people have been trying to convince the railway to put it out more, really nice line, very friendly and well worth stopping off at some of the stations as well! See you there Sunday..............?

37075 will be working passenger trains at the Churnet Valley Railway, on the following dates:

Sunday 19th July 2009,
Wednesday 5th August 2009,
Sunday 23rd August 2009,
Sunday 6th September 2009,
Sunday 20th September 2009 and
Saturday 10th October 2009 (VEP DAY)

In addition a 37075 Members Day is being held on Saturday 22nd August 2009

A new seven day a week bus service is also now operating from/to Stoke station. Service No 15 is operated be Alton Towers and calls at Froghall station. It departs Stoke Station at 0710, 0820 (NSu), 1010(NSu), 1110, 1715 and 1830. Return times from Froghall (the bus stop just outside the station) are 0824, 0924 (NSu), 1024, 1229, 1744 and 1844. It also calls at Hanley bus station 10 min after/ before Stoke railway station. The journey time is 26 minutes. NSu = does NOT run on Sundays. BUS FARES - Adult single is £2.70, Adult return £4.00.
